Bright Wave by lovelauraland Bright Wave by lovelauraland
Bright Wave is a commission for the lovely Lilacamy :)
she is of course a merpony.
I removed her back legs and sculpted her a tail out of apoxie clay, her fins are made from printed acetate with wire and fantasy film.
her clay tail is painted in blue and green metallic paints and crystals have been added with a few tiny bubble beads.
She was re-rooted in orange and blue/turquoise.
Her eyes were painted in shades of blue and varnished for protection :)
hope you all like her.

She's very pretty! I'm having a hard time determining if her tail is lots of little circles added onto the base, or lots of circular/half moons indented into the base, but it's an awesome effect! :D

You're welcome!
Ah, that's what's going on. That starts turning into one of those, "Why did I start doing this, it's taking forever to get the look I want" moments, doesn't it? :D

I love the contrast on this one. And as always, your fins are so beautiful.

Orange and blue are so perfect together! I love how you gave her a little jewel necklace, perfectly hidding her neck seam. Most attempt at hiding neck seams are too obvious, yours is very subtle, I love it!
